Over the Summer I visited the Photographers Gallery a few times. I always enjoy going in and having a look at what is on. I was very happy to see that they have now opened up a small video viewing room and another floor. By the end of next year there will be a top floor. It has taken a while but the gallery is starting to look like one as a posed to a room showcasing a few pieces of work, a shop and a cafe. I recently saw Sally Mann’s work there. I had seen all the pieces before but was nice to see them again in their large format as they are meant to be viewed.
I also came across a Vivienne Westwood exhibition in Selfridges in Bond Street. I was amazed to see her designs up close. http://www.selfridges.com/en/Whats-On/Events/London/Vivienne-Westwood-Shoes-Exhibition_Vivienne%20Westwood%20Shoes/?brdcrmb_trail=
Visiting exhibitions is important to see the photographs in the size in which the artist wanted them to be viewed. I must visit a variety of different galleries and this is what i need to work on this year.
